Terms of Service

1. The service

OneVerdict provides automated forensic analysis of media files (images, video, audio, documents). You upload a file; a multi-agent system examines it for signs of manipulation and returns a verdict of authentic, forged, or inconclusive, together with per-agent findings and a downloadable PDF report. Some cases are escalated to a human expert reviewer. By using the service you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. What the results are — and are not

Automated verdicts are probabilistic, not certainties. The system is designed to be conservative: many genuine files receive an honest inconclusive rather than a guess.
Reports marked "PROVISIONAL — PENDING HUMAN EXPERT REVIEW" reflect machine output that no human has yet validated; the verdict can change on review.
An inconclusive verdict is not an accusation — it means insufficient evidence either way.
Nothing produced by the service is legal advice, and no output constitutes a certified expert opinion unless explicitly signed off by a named human expert.
You are responsible for how you use the results. Decisions with legal, financial, employment, or reputational consequences should not rest on an automated verdict alone.

3. Your responsibilities

Only upload material you have the legal right to possess and submit for analysis, including any personal data it contains.
Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or content designed to attack the service.
Do not probe, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to defeat the analysis (rate limits and abuse detection apply; access may be suspended for abuse).
If you create an account, keep your credentials confidential; activity under your account is your responsibility.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the files you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit them to our subprocessors (listed in the Privacy Policy) solely to perform the analysis and operate the service. Uploaded media is automatically deleted from object storage after 90 days; you may delete a case at any time via DELETE /v1/verify/<case-id> or by emailing kartfelds@gmail.com.

5. Our intellectual property

The service, its analysis methods, models, reports format, and software are proprietary to OneVerdict and protected by law, including pending patent applications. These terms grant you no rights in them beyond using the service.

6. Availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any particular manipulation will be detected. Analysis features may be added, altered, or removed.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneVerdict shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or reputation, arising from use of or reliance on the service or its results. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnity

You will indemnify OneVerdict against claims arising from content you upload without the right to do so, or from your unlawful use of the service or its results.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or abuse of the service.

10. Changes; contact
